Willaim Cotiaux

    William Cotiaux of Fremont Center, a  Retired Supervisor for New York Telephone Company in Nassau County, and a US Army Veteran of World War II, died Saturday September 8, 2018 at Catskill Regional Medical Center Harris. He was 92. Son of the late William Charles and Mary Ann Cotiaux,  William was born November 15, 1925 in Queens, New York. He was the husband of the late June Cotiaux who predeceased him on December 30, 2013.
     A family statement reads: William was raised on a farm in Queens where he grew to love the country life. He and his wife built a second home in the Town of Fremont, Sullivan County in 1970 and moved here permanently in 2005.
     The family would like to express a special thank you to the Hubert and Esma families for all their help throughout the years, especially Cricket and Linda Hubert.
     William is survived by his daughters  Susan Zorn, and Janet Dugan and his son William C. Cotiaux and by his grand daughter Larissa Dzieciol and her husband Gary. In addition to his parents and his wife June, William was predeceased by his brother Joseph Cotiaux.  
     Friends may call on Wednesday September 12, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home 5068 Route 52 Jeffersonville, New York. The funeral service will be held Wednesday evening at the funeral home at 7 PM.
     Burial with Military Honors will take place on Friday September 14, 2018 at 1 PM at Calverton National Cemetery Calverton, Long Island, NY.
