Warren Krum

Warren Krum was born on April 27, 1944 and passed at his homestead on December 3, 2022. Warren is survived by his wife, business partner and best friend Barbara Krum, son Tony Krum with wife Alissa and three grandchildren Jack, Audrey and Henry. Warren loved sharing hunting and fishing stories over a dish of M&M’s with the kids. They loved him wholeheartedly.  He was surrounded by a loving extended family, wonderful friends and neighbors. Warren was predeceased by his young son Martin Krum.

Together for 57 years Warren and Barbara owned and operated their fur merchant business. Throughout the years they have met many wonderful trappers, hunters, designers, fellow sportsmen and others from all walks of life. Together they  built lifelong friendships which are truly cherished.

Warren woke everyday with enthusiasm for what he did and looked forward to chatting with anyone who might be knocking at the barn door. He loved sharing a good story and particularly enjoyed a good political debate.

Warren had a true passion and understanding for the natural world. Together with Barbara they had taught so much to so many. Warren you have left your legacy with us and we will continue to make you proud.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Warren’s name can be made to White Sulphur Springs Fire Department.
