Shirley M. Keesler of Damascus, PA a retired Librarian for the Delaware Free Library in Callicoon, died Thursday August 5, 2021 at the Ellen Memorial Health Center
in Honesdale, PA. She was 88. Shirley was born in Scranton , Pennsylvania on December 15, 1933 the daughter of the late Paul and Matilda Seeley. Shirley was the widow
of Russell "Jug" Keesler, Mr. Keesler died on August 30, 2015.
Shirley was a member of the Damascus United Methodist Church in Damascus, PA.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Lynn Hahl and her husband Charles, by her son William Canfield and his wife Joan, by her grandchildren Randy Canfield, Alycia Canfield, Dakota Hahl,
and Jessie Hahl, by her great grandchildren Derrick and Elania Canfield, and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Shirley was predeceased by her son Paul Canfield, and by her sister
June Pozza.
Friends may call on Monday August 9, 2021 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home 34 Upper Main Street Callicoon, New York from 4 to 7 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday
August 10, 2021 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery Galilee, Pennsylvania.
