Robert Sorge of Jeffersonville, NY a retired mechanic at Cypress Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY died on Monday February 14,2022 at Westchester Medical Center Valhalla, NY . He was 80. The son of the late Robert & Mary Kern Sorge he was born November 18,1941 in New York City. 
Robert was a US Air Force veteran. 
He is survived by his wife Sara who is a resident of the Care Center at Sunset Lake in Liberty, NY His son Robert R. Sorge (Dolores A.) of Port St. Lucie, FL , His granddaughter Emmily Stoddard (Tyler) of Port St. Lucie Fl,his step daughter Vikki Greenburg of Little Island, NY,  his brother Alfred Sorge (Meta) of Callicoon Center, NY and his nephew Michael Sorge of Callicoon Center, NY.
Grave side services will be Thursday  February 24,2022 at 11:00 AM at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery Sunset lake Road Liberty, NY Virginia Bossley will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jeffersonville First Aid squad.
