Rene Leclere

    Rene Leclere of Hortonville, New York passed away on September 15, 2021. He was 85.
The son of Emiel and Fernande Leclere, he was born in Normandy , France in 1936.
Rene was married to Ethel Long Leclere for 55 years.(1966)
     Survivors include his wife Ethel, daughter Tabitha Buckmaster(Bill); son Aaron Leclere
(Trish); four grandsons Skyler, Lakelen, Clayten and Landen; his niece Janine Coppola
(Carmen); his two nephews Robert Sykes(Bonnie) and Timothy Sykes ; as well as 
other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Rene was predeceased by an infant daughter and by his sisters Antoinette Sykes(Ralph) and Marthe Poignnac in France.
     Rene was a quiet, hard working, honest man who loved his family unconditionally 
and was so very proud of them. He accomplished much in his life. Rene was a creative wood craftsman, furniture maker, stone mason and had many other talents. He was a beloved self made man. Rene was retired from NYS DOT Kenoza Lake.
     Grave side services will be held on Saturday October 9, 2021 at 12 Noon at the Hortonville Cemetery County Road 121 Hortonville, NY.
