Kaleope “Bobbi” Arzilli
May 24, 1952 – August 9, 2021
Kaleope Arzilli, 69, passed away Monday, August 9th at Westchester Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.
Kaleope, known as Bobbi to her friends and family, was born in London, England in 1952. She moved to the United States before her first birthday and lived in Astoria, Queens until she moved her family to Cochecton in 1985. Bobbi was a surrogate “mom” to many in the community and beloved by her friends. She will be remembered for her wicked sense of humor, beautiful singing voice, strong hands and outstanding avgolemono soup.
Bobbi is survived by her daughter Kia Arzilli, son Lucas Arzilli and his wife Theresa, grandchildren Lucas II and Lucy, longtime companion Jimmy Franz, sisters Rose Hillock, Lee Elefther and her husband Harry, lifelong best friend Diane Moon as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Tony and Loukia Poulos, brothers Mike and Jack Poulos, and husband John Arzilli.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Saturday August 14, 2021 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home 5068 Route 52 Jeffersonville, New York from 1 to 4 PM. The funeral service will be held at 4 PM at the funeral home. 845-482-4280.
