A longtime resident of White Sulphur Springs, NY , Kati age 32, sadly passed away at home after a valiant battle with cancer, surrounded by family and friends on March 14,2022. She faced cancer with awe inspiring grace and strength . Even with cancer we were able to find times of laughter and always love.
Kati was born in Harris, NY to Patti Parisella of Youngsville,NY and John Parisella of Wisconsin. She is survived by her devoted fiancee' Ben Kautz, her parents, her sister Nicole Parisella, her god daughter / niece Alexus Parisella, her aunt Joann (Jo-Jo) Boyd, her aunts and uncles John & Sylvia Boyd, Sal & Del Parisella, Mike and Fran Kitto, Linda Mege, Renee Johnson, and several cousins. She was predeceased by her uncle Donald Boyd, and grandparents John & Irene Boyd, and Fred & Eva Parisella.
Kati graduated from Youngsville Alternative School. She attended SUNY Delhi. While attending high school , college and afterward Kati worked at Liberty Shop Rite. She then worked at New Hope Community , where she met Ben , who became the love of her life. Their love, support and devotion to each other created an unbreakable bond.
Kati was never afraid of hard work. While working at New Hope she always had another job, waitressing. Kati enjoyed photography, hiking, gardening, fishing and loved to bake Christmas cookies.
Kati truly cared about everyone she met. To know her was to love her. Her greatest loves were her friends and family, and her pets Jackson, Chloe and Eleanor.
Kati was a person of creativity, energy and devotion to whatever she set her sights on. These qualities attracted her amazing friends who supported her through her life's journey. Special thanks to Danielle, Leydi and Dan.
We have all learned from Kati how during this last chapter to be brave, courageous and to meet death without fear. She will be so greatly missed by everyone who loved her .
In lieu of flowers , the family requests donations be made in Kati's memory to Ride 2 Survive Sullivan County or to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital . Throughout her hospital stay, whenever she saw an ad on TV for St. Jude , she would say that she wished she could be a St. Jude Kid.
