John Andrew Tyler May 22, 1989 – October 17, 2021 On October 17, 2021, John Andrew Tyler, age 32, a lifetime Cochecton resident, left us for his eternal home. John was born in Harris, NY on May 22, 1989 to Ricky and Linda Tyler. He attended JYCS / Sullivan West, was a member of boy scouts, attended Sunday School and was a member of the Kenoza Lake United Methodist Church. John was a caring, good-hearted young man, who loved God, his family and friends, and his pets. His favorite pass-time was computer gaming. John is survived by his parents, Ricky and Linda Tyler of Cochecton, NY, his sister Jessica Tyler of Cochecton, NY, brother James Tyler and wife Cheryl of Narrowsburg, NY, brother Michael Tyler and companion Mallory Duffy of Liberty, NY, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dog Cadillac.

Viewing hours will be Friday, October 22, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m.at Stewart-Murphy Funeral home Jeffersonville, NY. A celebration of John’s life will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Bridgette LeConey and Bud LeConey. We invite everyone to share a special memory of John at the service. Burial is immediately following at Laurel Cemetery in Cochecton Center, NY. Fellowship will be held at the VFW - H. Russell Kenyon Post, (Grange Hall), on Rte. 17B, Fosterdale, NY. We welcome any covered dish to share at the fellowship.
