Gladys V. Houghtaling

  Gladys Houghtaling 92, of Callicoon, New York passed away on July 23, 2022. Her husband Verne, predeceased her in 2013.

     The daughter of the late Louis and Eleanor Mitterwager, she was born on April 3, 1930.

     Survivors include her children, Vicki Busch(Walter), Bruce Houghtaling (Rhonda) and Andrea Milucky (Dennis Zane).  Her son , Blaine Houghtaling predeceased her. Gladys had 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Cheryl Porter ( Oscar), Gail Peake (Ron) , Karen Hubert (Tom), and many nieces and nephews.  Gladys was predeceased by her sisters Beverly Houghtaling, Lois Houghtaling, Sylvia Mitterwager and brother Kenneth Mitterwager.

     At Gladys’ request there will be no visitation.  Private graveside services will be held at Pine Mill Cemetery.

     Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made  to Allan Milk Post VFW Long Eddy, New York or to Pine Mill Community Hall, Equinunk, Pa.
