Eugene A. "Mac" Kolbe
April 20,1934-August 16,2020
Eugene A. "Mac" Kolbe of Callicoon New York and Lady Lake, Florida died on August 16,2020 at Garnet Medical Center Middletown, NY after a short illness.The son of the late Fred and Jennie Sommer Kolbe, he was born April 20,1934 in Callicoon, NY.
Mac was a veteran of the US Army and a retired paving foreman for Union Local #17 . He was a past member of the Hortonville Fire Department and Tamarack Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Rita (Schick) Kolbe, his daughters Cindy (David) Peters, Cathy (Lee) Reimer , and son Michael (Kim) Kolbe. Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Eleanor Kolbe Zahn and brother Norman Kolbe.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hortonville Fire Department or Upper Delaware Ambulance Corps.
