Edward Amott Obituary

Amott, Edward John Jr., "EJ," age 65 formerly of Central Islip, NY currently residing in Long Eddy, NY passed away on Friday September 11, 2020. EJ was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. EJ is survived by his wife, Deborah Amott; his children Brian, Tracy and Jill; his daughter in law Jessica; his two son in laws Anthony and Tim and his seven grandchildren, Tyler, Peyton, Timothy, Madison, Olivia, Leah and Ava. EJ was born in BayShore, NY on May 14, 1955 to Edward and Patricia Amott. He spent 39 years as a colleague and friend to all who worked alongside of him at the Town of Islip Recreation Department. EJ was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending his time on the Delaware River. EJ was a true friend to many and will be missed by all.
