David Lawrence Minckler

David Lawrence Minckler a retired construction laborer with Union Local # 17 died on Saturday July 2,2022 at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital in Citrus , Florida . He was 78. The son of the late  Sanford Benjamin Minckler and Irma Sarah Williams Minckler, he was born January 25,1944 in Callicoon, NY.  He was  predeceased by his beloved wife  of 40 years Elizabeth Madge  Yusko Minckler on January 26, 2006.
He is survived by his two daughters Theresa  Regina Wells and her husband Randall of Mattituck, NY and Delilah (Ayeesha)  Gieger and her husband James of Jeffersonville, NY , and by his three grandchildren Rachel Anne and Daniel Carter Wells of Mattituck ,NY and Derek  James Gieger of Charleston, SC. and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by eight siblings:Alvin , Alfred, Allan, & Gerald Minckler, Bertha Swendsen, Edith Fuller, Alice Johnston Gillow, and Wanda Hendricks. 
Dave grew up in Long Eddy ,NY. He was a  fifty year member of Laborers International Union of North America. He was an excellent carpenter. 
Family Statement: We all have fond memories of fishing, hunting , and camping with our family for many years.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
