Connie Rose Gopel

Connie R. Gopel November 16, 1954 ~ January 11, 2023 Connie R. Gopel of Narrowsburg, NY, passed away January 11, 2023. She was 68 years of age. The daughter of Richard C. and Amy I. Tyler, she was born November 16, 1954 in Callicoon, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Kurt J. Gopel, and two sisters, Shirley Jones and Amy Tyler. She is survived by her daughter, Holly Gopel; her sons, Dennis Gopel and Daniel Gopel; and two stepdaughters, Yvette Gopel and Erika Mavros. Her surviving siblings are Madalyn Hanson, Kirby Tyler, Ricky Tyler, Walter Tyler and Mark Tyler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Connie loved her family and friends dearly. She had a great sense of humor. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Callicoon, NY. Visitation will also be from 11:00 AM  to 12 noon on Wednesday, January 18 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be at 12 noon  at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Laurel Cemetery in Cochecton Center, NY.
