Carol Zieres Obituary
Carol J. Zieres of North Branch, NY died on Sunday July 26, 2020 at Catskill Regional Medical Center Harris,NY, she was 92. The daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Beckemeyer Gaudette she was born December 18, 1927 in Jeffersonville, NY. She was the widow of Edward "Bud" Zieres , Mr. Zieres died on July 25,2001 .
Edward and Carol owned and operated the Green Meadow Farms Chicken Farm in North Branch for many years. Carol was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in North Branch.
Carol's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ahmed and the nurses and staff of the Skilled Nursing Unit at Catskill Regional Medical Center for the excellent care afforded to Carol during her stay there.
She is survived by her children: Terry Zieres and his wife Lillian of Jeffersonville, Brenda Edwards and her companion Samantha Odom of Las Vegas, NV, Dennis Zieres and his wife Janie of Monticello, Kevin Zieres and his wife Kathy of North Branch, and Lee Zieres and his companion Diana of Canton, OH. 4 grandchildren: Kevin Zieres, Jr., Melody Zieres , Sue Teeple, and Sara Simpson. 4 step grandchildren Joe and Jason King, Shannon Armbrust, and Deanna Cruz, and 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Edward "Bud" Zieres , she was predeceased by her granddaughter Janine Edwards and sisters Alice Misner, Grace Hillriegel, and Dorothy Sadenwater.

Friends may call on Thursday July 30,2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:OO Noon. Social distancing guidelines will be in place . Facial coverings will be required. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM at the funeral. Interment will be in the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery Liberty, NY .
