William (Bill) Kolakowski, an avid fisherman, Mets, Jets and Knicks fan, died at home, on Monday January 21st at the age of 64. Born to Joseph and Esther Kolakowski in Jamaica Queens, New York on June 4th 1954. He was a 1972 high school graduate of Christ the King high school in Jamaica Queens, New York. He wed Beverly Schwartz and they had five loving children. He was predeceased by his mother Esther, father Joseph, sister Rae, son Daniel and grandson Richard. He was a lover of animals especially his beloved horse "Rawhyde" and "living in the country". Every spring, he would take a hike with his grandchildren to show them his mountains and the wonders of being outside. For 25 years, he was a proud resident of Fremont New York where he raised his four loving children, countless cattle and many grandchildren. He retired from MTA Police, where he was a decorated peace officer.
Bill is survived by his wife Beverly, by his children son Rabbi Joseph Kolakowski and his wife Millie, daughters Rachael Kolakowski-Aiello and her husband Keith, Sarah Schalamon and her husband Brian, and Jessie Kolakowski. Bill is also survived by his grandchildren-Faith, Roslind, Sally, Soloman, Abraham and Moses Kolakowski, Daniela and Caroline Aiello, and Levi Schalamon
