Richard Ferber of Callicoon, NY a retired Bus driver for Coach USA Bus Lines died on Friday August 31, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center Middletown, NY. He was 86. The son of the late Lawrence Henry & Eudora Edna Stoesser Ferber he was born August 26,1932 in Monticello, NY. He was married to the late Virginia Rose Klein Ferber, she passed away on May 7,2015.
Richard was a US Army Veteran and a member of the Hortonville Fire Department.
He is survived by his children : Bridgette VanNorman and her husband Tim of Windsor, NY, Brian "Butch" Buday and his wife Jill of Cochecton, NY,
Heidi Ferber of North Branch, NY, Jill Ferber of Callicoon, NY, Tracey Ferber of Montgomery, NY Erica Ferber of Tyler Hill, PA, Henry Ferber of Callicoon,NY, and Elizabeth Ferber formerly of Callicoon. Two sisters Ruth Ruffo of Endicott, NY and Donna  Sprague of Colorado.13 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews .In addition to his wife Virginia he was also predeceased by his daughter Laurie Lalia.
Friends may call on Tuesday September 4,2018 from 7 to 9 PM   and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home Callicoon, NY. Firematic services will be Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 12:00 PM at the funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow at Hortonville Cemetery Hortonville, NY.
