Michael Ivancich, 75, peacefully passed away Monday, July 30, at his White Sulphur Springs, NY home with his family by his side.
Mike was born September 14, 1942, in Hoboken NJ to Marco and Florence Ivancich.
He graduated from St. Luke’s High School in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ in 1960. Right after he attended University of Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1973 from Teaneck NJ, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
Mike is survived by his wife Diane Ivancich of 54 years, daughters Susan, Nancy, Barbara, Mary; sons Michael Jr., Peter, Greg; his sisters Jerri Storan and Patricia DiClemente, nieces Donna Storan, Michelle Zoch and Jennifer O’Toole; sister-in-laws MaryAlice Dowdell and Jane Cook and 4 son-in-laws, 3 daughter-in-laws, 19 loving grandchildren and much extended family.
He had the opportunity to make his life’s passion of science his career. He loved playing golf with Harvey, trout fishing, finishing puzzles, and watching classic black and white movies. He spoke his own language called sarcasm. He found the perfect martini from the White Sulphur Inn and worlds best calamari from Ciao Bella.

Friends may call on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home located at 5068 Route 52, Jeffersonville, NY from 10 AM to 12 PM.
