Mary S Butremuk

     Mary S. Butremuk formerly of Long Eddy, currently of Carmel, New York a retired Manager for AT&T in Manhattan, died Wednesday September 19, 2018 in Carmel. She was 100. Mary was born in Liberty, New York  February 1, 1918, the daughter of the late Andrew and Stella Plypsuhyn Butremuk
     Mary was a member of the Basket Historical Society Long Eddy, a member of St Patrick's and Holy Cross Churches , a member of the Callicoon Senior citizens and a former election inspector for the Town of Fremont.
     Mary is survived by her cousins Joan De Marzo, Patricia Horn, Andrew Kinash Jr. and her Godson Joseph De Marzo. In addition to her parents Mary was predeceased by her sister Pauline Nearing and by her niece Maureen Nearing.
     Friends may call on Monday September 24, 2018 at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home 34 Upper Main Street Callicoon from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. The Funeral Mass will be at 12 Noon on Monday at St. Patrick's Church, Church Street Long Eddy.
     In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church C/O Holy Cross Church P.O. Box 246 Callicoon, New York 12723.
