Martha Molino

Martha Molino, 90, Master Gardener, Loving wife,mother, grandmother and great-grandma (Mimi) Martha Molino passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, with her daughter at her side. Born April, 1928 in Liberty, New York, she was raised in Jeffersonville, NY until she moved to Hackensack, NJ, and then to Union City, NJ where she met her beloved husband, Anthony N. Molino, who passed away in 2012. Martha and Anthony raised a family in Saddle Brook, NJ. They later moved to Callicoon Center, NY. Martha graduated from the Master Gardener Program in Rutgers Cook College in May of 1987. Along with her husband, she did many hours of volunteer work as a Master Gardener. An accomplished herbalist, she gave lectures on herbs in many venues and conducted horticultural therapy sessions. She was a member of The Dorcas Guild in Our Savior Lutheran Church in Fair Lawn, NJ and she was a member of the Jeffersonville Lutheran Church and the North Branch Grace Church. She helped with church dinners. She was an excellent cook, especially noted for her cookies. Martha was talented at crocheting and knitting. She helped make Afghans for church raffles and caps for newborns. She loved to read and she loved birds and animals. Martha is survived by her daughters Marie Moore and Margaret Kimble, her son, Anthony John Molino, her son-in-law Kevin Moore, Her daughter-in-law Ricki Haim-Molino, grand-children Daniel Moore, Nicole Moore, Ramone Kimble, Michelle Brown, and great-grand-children Ja’Mir Brown, Auria Brown, and Desmond Maurice Dease. Martha was predeceased by her eldest son, Michael A. Molino and an infant daughter, Faith Ann Molino. Visitation will be Saturday, 11/17/18 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a 12:00 pm memorial service at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Inc located at 5068 State Route 52, Jeffersonville, NY 12748 Entombment of cremains will follow at the Jeffersonville Lutheran Cemetery.
