Marion F Coburn

  It is with great sadness that we say goodbye for now  to Marion Frances Frohberg Coburn. On the afternoon of September 28, 2018, she peacefully went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family in her home at 73.
     Marion was born in Uniondale, New York on August 27, 1945 to the late George and Marion (Roode) Frohberg. She lived in Long Island until the early 1980's when she and her family relocated to Sullivan County. It was there in 1985 when she met the love of her life, Mac Coburn. They had 33 years of incredible happiness together. He will miss her terribly.
     Along with her husband Mac, Marion is survived by her children Ronald Cusano, Christina Cusano, Donna(Coburn)Smith, Lori (Coburn) Kestler and Todd Coburn. Her grandchildren Amber Cusano, Dominick Cusano, Joseph Cusano, Salvatore Cusano, Angelo Cusano, Isabella Cusano, Brittany(Smith)Wallace, Johnny Smith, Dylan Smith, Amanda Sullivan, and Jerry Sullivan. Her great grandchildren Scarlett Cusano O'Halloran, Greyson Cusano O"Halloran, Reid Wallace, Kaleb Davis, Marissa Sullivan, Kiera Smith and one more on the way. Marion is survived by her siblings George Frohberg, Barbara (Frohberg) Lynn and Georgina(Frohberg) Scardino. Marion was also loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and friends.
     We will all remember the things Marion did to make everyone special. Beautifully decorated cakes, pumpkin and banana bread, her famous cheesecake and cards for every occasion. She always had a kind word for everyone and a smile on her face. Marion will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
     Friends may call on Friday October 5, 2018 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home 34 Upper Main street Callicoon from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday October 6, at the funeral home at 10 AM. Burial will be in the Hortonville Cemetery Hortonville, New York.
