Lyman Bauer

  Lyman Bauer of Callicoon and Inverness, Florida a retired foreman for Sullivan County DPW, died Tuesday august 14, 2018 in Inverness. He was 83.  Son of the late Norman Sr. and Florence Bauer, Lyman was born January 4, 1935 in Callicoon. Lyman was the widower of Diana Gordon Bauer.
     Lyman was a member of Holy Cross Church in Callicoon, and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Inverness.
Lyman is survived by his two sons Norman Bauer and his wife Heidi, Scott Bauer and his wife Lindsay, by his grandchildren Dylan Bauer, Caleb Bauer, and Piper Bauer; by his brothers Norman Bauer Jr. and his wife Diane,  Ronald Bauer and  Jerome Bauer; by his stepson Robert Moore. Lyman was predeceased by his parents, by his wife and by his stepchildren Vincent Moore, Kristen Moore and Kimberly Savoy.
     Friends may call on Monday August 20, 2018 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home 34 Upper Main Street Callicoon from 5-7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday August 21, 2018 at Holy Cross Church Callicoon at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery Callicoon.
