Elizabeth Rotando Johnston

Elizabeth Rotando Johnston , formerly of Jeffersonville,  a retired clerk at the Sullivan County Veterans Service Agency , died on Thursday in the Skilled Nursing Unit at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 88. The daughter of the late Anthony John Rotando and Catherine Melillo Rotando, she was born March 24, 1930 in Mount Vernon, NY.

Elizabeth is survived by her children: Joan E. Hert  and her husband Robert of Jeffersonville, Christopher John Johnston of Titusville, FL , and Russell T. Johnston and his wife Kimberly of Norfolk, VA, her brother John Rotando of Yorktown Heights , NY, 10 grandchildren , 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband Russell Johnston.
Friends may call on Tuesday March 5, 2019  from 2 to 4 PM at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home Jeffersonville, NY  a memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment of Elizabeth's cremains will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook, NY  at a later date.
