DAVID W. KORTH Service In House Design/Estimator David W.
Korth, a resident of Waldorf, MD, died on Sunday, November 4,
2018, at Med-Star Washington Hospital Center in Washington,
DC. He was 66 years old. The son of Floyd R. and Doris A.
(Eldred) Korth, he was born on September 23, 1952 in Callicoon,
NY, and grew up in Callicoon Center NY. He was a retired
Service In House Design/ Estimator for American Combustion
Industries, Inc. (ACI), a licensed Journeyman Ref/Ac Mechanic,
member of Steamfitters Local #602 and a BTJ Pipefitter Oil
Burner Retiree. He took pride in his work and could fix just about
anything. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved cat, Sassy,
restoring his 64 GTO and cruising the countryside, fishing in his
boat on the Potomac and other local rivers and spending time
with family, friends and neighbors. He was blessed with a
wonderful tenant and some great neighbors who were like family
to him. He is survived by his 3 sisters, Dian M. Bogert (Les) of
Beach Lake, PA, Linda G. Robinson (Quentin) of Calhan, CO and
Janet L. Clewell (Jeffrey) of Beach Lake, PA; 10 nieces and
nephews, 24 great-nieces and nephews, an uncle and aunt and
several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Floyd and
Doris Korth, and his brother-in-law, William R. Eckhoff. Graveside
services will be held, at the convenience of the family, in the
Callicoon Center Cemetery, Callicoon Center, NY. Memorial
contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or
the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are by Latney’s
Funeral Home, Washington, DC and Stewart-Murphy Funeral
